I got the special order with everything for takeout for 60k. For sticky rice, this place is quite pricey considering the average price for savory sticky rice ranges around 15-35k. But my god, this was probably the best savory sticky rice I've ever had. The order was fresh & piping hot. The sticky rice was perfectly cooked & seasoned with not a single grain that was dry. It was soft, moist & chewy—everything you'd want from sticky rice. The toppings were also very generous & excellently seasoned. From the shredded chicken to the lap cheong to the char siu pork to the quail eggs to the crispy chicken skins to the fried shallots & the scallion oil, all these different flavors and textures just came together in one perfect symphony with the sticky rice. It was rich, savory & so indulgent. My only criticism is that there could've been fewer chicken skins or the chicken skins could've been crumbled up more because they were very rich & the whole dish was already quite rich so the amount of chunky chicken skins were really pushing it for me. Though this is easily remedied by simply not eating all of the chicken skins (which was what I did). While pricey, this was very much worth it for what you're getting. It is the kinda food you should treat yourself to every now & then. 4.25/5.

XÔI DÌ GÁI - Vietnamese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City
Reviews
Tried the stick rice with char siew. Rice is extremely delicious and the meat portion is generous.
Tried the xôi mặn and xôi gà xé — both were delicious! Big portions, sticky rice was soft and chewy, and the flavor was just right.
Best Xôi ever! And it's not even close! It's not cheap, but damn... It delivers! I've never had better than this, and by a wide margin! It might be a bit too sweet or too salty for some of you. But this is Vietnamese comfort food at its best! Do yourself a service and try! 😋
Small eatery serving sticky rice with various toppings. Delicious and affordable, owner is friendly.
