Downtown Steakhouse - Hoa Mai - Steak house in Ho Chi Minh City

I ordered a grilled chicken burger and to be honest, it was damn good. The chicken is so tender, the fries is crunchy. The food served fast even and the staff is carefully listened to my order the restaurant was crowded. This restaurant will be in my favorite list to dine out.

Great food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I had the chicken salad and the duck breast. The chicken was absolutely delicious and the sauce was perfectly balanced. The duck was good as well, but the chicken was the highlight for me. What really stood out was the staff. I have dietary restrictions and they were able to explain the ingredients in detail, which gave me a lot of confidence in my choice. I haven’t experienced that level of ingredient knowledge elsewhere during this trip. I will definitely come back and try the rib-eye next time.

We've been with friend to eat brunch. My burger and friend's spaghetti was nice, but my wife's most expensive steak was a bit slim and full of fat, that's why 4 stars. Staff is polite and friendly. I would visit again for burger.

Considering that meat quality in Vietnam can be hit or miss, this dish was a pleasant surprise. The rice and vegetables complemented the meal well, making it a satisfying and balanced dish. If you’re looking for a place with better-quality meat and well-prepared steak dishes, Downtown Steakhouse is a solid choice. Highly recommended for anyone craving something hearty and flavorful in Saigon.

Overall it's good. A very small steak house located in the back alley (not the main street). It's very quiet and cozy. The food is good. I ordered a premium tenderloin steak, and also a set of German sausage. The steak is tender and juicy inside, worth the price! German sausage also taste good. Staff is very attentive and polite, despite she having difficulty to understand English, but she still trying her best to accommodate and help. I will come back again in the future if I'm around town. Minus 1 star because there's mosquito inside the air-conditioning room, keep biting me.....
