The outlook of the shop looks simple and dated - however every dish ordered was amazing! Never judge a book by its cover, now I understand why this place is highly recommended by the locals 🤩👍 (they usually come here for breakfast (noodles) and sides) And the price is very reasonable too!

Yummy bún bò Huế. The staffs are well trained. But I hate that people come here and smoke a lot. The restaurant allows smoking!!!! You should definitely never take your family with kids here.

My first and last time here. Lots of people came by for lunch. I had their cơm hến (50.000 VND), which is rice with baby clams and raw veggies. The taste was decent and the veggies appeared fresh. It does have crispy fried pork pieces on top, which was not stated on the menu. Good to always ask the waiter if the particular dish has pork thrown in, in case you don’t eat pork. I don’t prefer them, so I placed those pieces to the side. I also had a fresh coconut drink for 35.000 VND. You can ask them to pour out the juice and scrape the coconut meat out for you. That was nice of them to do. I wish the coconut water was cold, it was a bit warm. I have been in Vietnam for nearly 3 weeks now and I have yet to get sick 🤢 until now. I have eaten raw veggies at places too and I also carry a travel medicine to reduce chance of illness. However, after about 2 hours from eating this food, I began to feel extremely nauseous. This eventually led to multiple rounds of vomiting. 🤮 Now, I am not sure if it’s how they store their clams or clean their veggies, but there is a tendency to store snails in Vietnam that can cause it to spoil. I and even Vietnamese locals, have gotten stomachaches from eating at places that serve snails because they get stored outside not refrigeratorated. Perhaps, this was the case with the clams. I share this to provide caution. Maybe if you avoid what I got, you may be fine. However, I could not in good conscience recommend you order any sort of seafood (clams) at this establishment. 🤞🏽 Good luck.

What is the best dish at Hue Corner?
Bún bò Huế is the anchor dish, with broth carrying lemongrass and fermented shrimp paste. Bánh bèo and bún chả giò with crispy spring rolls also draw consistent praise from regulars.
Is Hue Corner kid-friendly?
No. Smoking is permitted indoors, which reviewers flag explicitly — one noted 'you should definitely never take your family with kids here.'
Is Hue Corner open for breakfast?
Yes. Locals arrive for early noodle bowls, though Sunday hours close at 3 PM, reflecting the breakfast-heavy rhythm.
Is Hue Corner halal / pork-free?
No. Dishes like cơm hến include crispy fried pork pieces not always listed on the menu — one reviewer noted it is worth asking staff about pork in specific dishes.
Is Hue Corner good for groups?
The dining room is large enough that a lunch rush does not create a compressed, waiting-for-the-table feeling, and reviewers describe it as 'spacious, quiet and chill.'
