Kimbap cheonguk - Korean restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Home style cooking. The food was pretty descent. Around 100k per dish.

I was craving Bimbimbap and I was on my way to work. I drove on a random street and google searched to find this location. It was hard to find because it’s in Korean. But for anyone looking for this place it has the name Kimbap in English at the front. So the food, Great portion, delicious taste. I really appreciated the sides and the well cooked egg. Also I was surprised that it came with fish cakes. There was plenty of bean sprouts which are my favourite. Could have better service though

Pretty good meal. I recommend the place for food but the place is a bit messy and disorderly looking. The hostess hardly acknowledged me when I came in and didn’t even bother to look my way as I left. Whatever.

Long story short, when we lived in Korea we had a wonderful “go-to” restaurant for comfort food. When we moved here, I had given up hope of finding such a place here. I’m very happy to say I was wrong! The food was so good and scratched an itch (so to speak) I’ve had for a year and a half. The owner was friendly and the staff was very kind. We will definitely be going back for delicious home cookin’!

100% First class, excellent and best maki. I love this delicious Korean kitchen, I will come again.
