It is a very simple streetside restaurant tucked away on the quiet side of District 2, but the culinary experience is anything but ordinary. We have followed the owner, Miss Hien, from her original restaurant in District 7 to this new location, and her immense effort and dedication to great food continue to shine through. The everyday menu is fantastic—the Goose Noodles, Bun Cha, and perfectly fried tofu are all amazing and highly recommended. The highlight of our visit, however, was a special order of fried goose with garlic. It was over-the-top tender, incredibly succulent, and had a delicate sweetness that was simply unforgettable. Sitting streetside in such a quiet area, enjoying a cool breeze under the full moon, made the entire evening feel magical. If you want honest, elegant Northern Vietnamese food with a wonderful atmosphere, this is the place to be.

I stopped by Món Ngon Hà Nội Hiền Lành craving something different and ended up finding one of the best bowls of miến ngan I’ve had in a long time. The broth was light, clear, and full of flavor without being overly salty. The duck was tender, juicy, and had none of that strong gamey taste that sometimes puts people off. Every bite felt fresh and comforting. The star of the show was definitely the miến ngan. The noodles had the perfect texture, the bamboo shoots added a nice crunch, and everything soaked up that delicious broth beautifully. I kept telling myself “just one more spoonful” until suddenly the bowl was empty. The restaurant itself is clean, welcoming, and has a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff were friendly and made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Hanoi flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Come for the miến ngan, stay because you’ll already be planning your next bowl before you leave!
