Rice Viet Saigon Restaurant - Vietnamese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Rice Viet Saigon is tucked inside an elegant hotel (with a sign outside confusingly calling it Spice Viet) and has amazing ambience. I got the Hu Tieu and the Ca Phe Su Da and they were amazing and fairly inexpensive. The Hu Tieu wasn't heavily seasoned, so you could really taste the ingredients.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came in for lunch and left genuinely impressed. The vegan spring rolls were fresh and light, the beef vermicelli was packed with flavor, and the pineapple juice was the perfect finish. Everything came out fast without any drop in quality. The ambience is exactly what you want, clean, comfortable, and great energy. Han provided excellent service from start to finish, attentive without being intrusive. Rice Viet is the real deal. Highly recommend.

We stayed at G8 Center Hotel and had dinner at Rice Viet Saigon Restaurant. We had Sizzling beef steak with bread. Dinner was served promtly, high quality, great flavour. Chilling atmosphere and friendly staff (Ms Hanh). Reasonable price.

Not great food, we got very burnt fries. The beef in the soy sauce with veggies was not a good cut of meat, super chewy, with again burnt fries for my son. The waiter forgot my main meal. The lemongrass chicken and rice had no flavor to it. We got the garlic shrimp and they overcooked the shrimp and the veggies with it were like mush. The only good thing we got was the fresh spring rolls with the peanut sauce. We Won't be going back there... The best thing about this place, was it had a cute little fish pond and my kids loved it.

Ngoc Hanh and Quoc Hy are absolutely fantastic! They both serve with a genuine smile and are extremely helpful. Their service is over and above what’s required from the job. Thank you to you both! Also the restaurant and its food are great. Breakfast buffet is exceptionally good with a generous selection. Evening time has a quiet atmosphere with nice soft music to enjoy a drink with dinner in a relaxed mood. The Rice Viet Saigon restaurant is a great choice for in-house guest as well as outside visitors to come enjoy the calming atmosphere with great food and wine along with its lovely staff who makes a huge difference.
