Absolutely brilliant desserts and cakes, best in Saigon! Although the speciality ones are on the pricey side ... but well worth it. 😋

Today was our first time visiting Bakes, and although we went in the evening so there weren’t many bakery options left, we decided to try the cakes instead. The Hazelnut Chocolate Kiss cake was absolutely delicious, we loved it so much and would definitely come back just for that cake alone! The tiramisu was okay, but personally it was a bit too creamy for my taste. I usually prefer a stronger and bolder coffee flavor in tiramisu. The drinks were great though, we ordered an americano and a cappuccino, and both had a really balanced taste, not too sweet and not bitter either. The service was fast and friendly, and overall the place is definitely worth visiting. It’s a little on the pricey side, but still reasonable for the quality. One thing to note is that the cafe is quite small, so if you prefer bigger cafes with more seating, another branch might suit you better. Other than that, we had a really nice experience. Amazing place, we’re foreign to vietnam and the staff were so welcoming and very willing to assist. Food was great, best bakery i’ve visited in years. Wish I had the time to revisit.

Worst bakery in town! With the same amount of money, you can find a way better option. I ordered this cake for my niece, and look what I received. The chocolate all tumbled out when I first received it so I knew it wasn't glued on by chocolate. How dumb it is to just plop the chocolate on top of the cake, rookie mistake but the price doesn't seem rookie to me. The second pic is the one they switched for me, and any decent bakery and business owner out there wouldn't sent out a cake like this. What's going on with the quality control and smoothness in the eyes area? They claimed that it's due to the weather, but they charged me full price for the cake tho, I got no discount for an ugly cake? And it's not like I wanna know the reasons, I just need the result. Also, they charged me 16k for a birthday card where they altered my message without notifying me, the handwriting wasn't flattering either, but to each their own. The funny thing is they try to gift me a 20% off voucher (to use within a month) as an apology. What makes you think I'll give you a second try? 🤡
