Casinha - Portuguese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Very unexpected find in HCMC, this charming Portuguese restaurant was delicious. The entrees hit the spot for me, highly recommended. The Pork & Bacon Burger was so so, & my Octopus main was tasty! My next trip will def try more variety here. Overall would recommend. Portuguese Tarts were divine!

A pleasant surprise! It was our first time trying Portuguese Cuisine, so we didn't know what to expect. Starting from the service: we were served kindly and carefully. The food arrived quite fast, and star was the Sapatei'roll (crab meat in a brioche bun, delicious). The drinks were amazing, too. Definitely coming back for trying more.

It was our first time trying Portugese food & so we cannot compare it but this was all absolutely delicious. We enjoyed everything & are already planning to return very soon. We'd like to try everything on the menu. The prices for the food are very reasonable & in my opinion great value. It was all delicious & cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, our waiter was very personable & welcoming, he made us feel welcome. The ambience & decor is also great. My only gripe is no complimentary water is given. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into this place & they want to give everyone a nice experience. Other restaurants of this calibre give water so I'd love to see Casinha do the same.

I had an amazing experience at this Portuguese restaurant—easily the best Portuguese restaurant I’ve found in Vietnam. They serve authentic Portuguese food, and everything feels true to tradition. Their specialty, the pastel de nata, is absolutely outstanding. Perfectly flaky on the outside, creamy on the inside, and with that classic caramelized top—just like the ones you’d find in Portugal. What really makes this place special is the service. It has that traditional, old-school charm you don’t see much anymore—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel the history and passion behind the way they treat their guests. If you’re looking for real Portuguese cuisine and a memorable dining experience, this place is a must.

The food and service was amazing! 🤩 very authentic just like what we had in Lisbon! it is great that there is such a great Portuguese place in town! Heard that the owner is from Portugal. Great job team!
