Nice restaurant on a quiet street surrounded by appartments. The burger is done nicely, very juicy beef. Fish and chips well done as well, crunchy and not to greasy. The staff are friendly.

Chill and cozy place for residents in Happy valley. Food is good too. There’s a big lovely and friendly dog.

Nice neighborhood bar with a decent happy hour. Buy-one-get-one on cocktails & discounted draft beers. I only went for drinks but will surely come back to try some of the food. The patio is a nice place to relax and service was attentive.

Visited Coolabah D7 enticed by the promise of roast chicken (280k for 1/2), and I wasn't disappointed. The wait is about 30 minutes, during which I tried the salt and pepper squid (180k), which was also quite satisfying. For the chicken, you can opt for the kitchen to cut it (Vietnamese style with a butcher knife) or receive the whole half bird to carve yourself. If you're adept at carving, I recommend doing it yourself for a more enjoyable experience. The location is pet-friendly, and the owner, Kevin, is incredibly welcoming. Service from the staff is decent; some of the younger staff might be a bit shy, but I never lacked assistance throughout the dining experience. A solid 5/5 stars.

The place is a neighborhood pub. At some point, they started keeping a large dog and a cat inside the pub and there’s often an unpleasant smell. Today, while we were eating, the cat jumped onto our table and even sat on our food. We were shocked and raised our voices, but the owner didn’t seem bothered at all—there wasn’t even an apology. He just took the cat away. I asked a staff to replace the food, but honestly, if I were the owner, I would have offered to replace it immediately without being asked. Since it’s located in our apartment complex, we used to visit often, but after this experience, we won’t be going back.
