Had a wonderful dining experience at this Indian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City! 🇮🇳❤️ The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavour, with each dish prepared beautifully and served fresh. What really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were incredibly prompt, attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with recommendations and requests. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The combination of great food, generous hospitality, and attentive service made the whole experience truly enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive, and the service was excellent. It was wonderful to find such authentic Indian flavours in Vietnam. The atmosphere was also pleasant and welcoming. This restaurant is located on the second floor of an old apartment building. To reach it, you have to walk through a corridor lined with parked motorbikes, which gives it the charm of a hidden gem. The restaurant offers an authentic Indian dining experience, from its atmosphere and décor to its traditional flavors. Stepping inside feels like being transported to a local restaurant in India. Today, I ordered Butter Chicken Curry, Jeera Rice, and an Apple Mojito. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the fragrant Jeera Rice paired perfectly with the curry. The Apple Mojito was refreshing and helped balance the richness of the meal. Overall, the food was excellent and left a lasting impression. Last week, I had a chance to visit this restaurant. After seeing several positive reviews, I had very high expectations but honestly, I was quite disappointed with the reality. I’d like to share my genuine experience: 1. No drinking water served i had to ask twice just to get water. In almost all Indian restaurants I’ve visited, water is usually served upon arrival. 2. Service issues I gave my order clearly to a staff member, but it arrived incorrect and in smaller quantity. This was frustrating because I had to stop eating and wait again. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded, yet it was difficult to get the staff’s attention whenever we needed something. 3. Food quality I ordered two starters, but they were far from authentic in taste. After just one bite, I had to confirm whether the dishes were actually what I ordered they looked similar but tasted completely different. 4. Missing basics No complimentary items like salad or pickles were served, which is quite standard in most restaurants, especially considering their relatively high prices. 5. Mango lassi It tasted unpleasant, and I couldn’t drink it. I ended up asking for takeaway just to avoid wasting it. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the reviews. I hope the restaurant can improve both its service and food quality.
