GrillDog Burger - Hamburger restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

first time came to Saigon and i look for something to eat at the central then i cross this shack burger, the vibe and air is refreshing, i want to play safe so i order the smash, fries and lemonade soda. The buns are really top tier like better than major US brands, i like the fresh tender meat inside but the crispy is weird to me kinda burn bitter to me. too much sauce by the way, please if you do the smash burger, let the customer feel the meat first. Fries and drinks are acceptable. Another amazing point is the staff, the one with little long hair, he is so amazing on sharing me with menu and the way he let customer feel trust to try when they first time visit. Super professional and honest - his accent is very american i’m surprised! Will try again next time with the Bun Cha!

My husband and I tried the Bún Chả Burgers at Grilldog and really enjoyed it. It is a creative and tasty twist on a classic Vietnamese dish, with smoky grilled flavours and very thoughtful details from the fresh herbs to the pickles and the well-balanced sauce (having fish sauce - very interesting). Chicken nugget is good, too. This would definitely be a spot I’ll bring my foreign friends to when they come to Saigon. Just a small suggestion: it would be great to have a smaller burger size, maybe around two-thirds of the current one, which may be more suitable for female customers ^^

Love the vibe of this spot. It looks like a revamped 90s shake shop. Service is good, and the smash burger is delicious. Crispy edges, grilled onions, gooey cheese. It’s great. The reason I give 3 stars is the chicken. It was terrible. Literally couldn’t even eat half of it. It was so bitter and weirdly flavored. I don’t know if it was the oil they fried it in, the sauce they cover it in, or just the chicken itself, but it was a bad chicken burger. The space is also really small, with only one table with a good view of the street. The high tables are okay, but they are very wobbly and unsteady.

Drinks were refreshing too, with a light citrusy taste that paired really well with the meal. The overall presentation was neat and appetizing, and the vibe felt casual and enjoyable. Perfect spot for a quick but satisfying burger fix. Would definitely come back!

Just tried Grill Dog, the newly opened burger fast food spot in the heart of District 1, Saigon, and it was seriously impressive! Their Smash Burger was outstanding flavorful, juicy, and very affordable. The burger came with perfectly hand-cut French fries and an ice-cold fresh soda that completed the meal beautifully. What made the experience even better was the super friendly and helpful Gen Z staff who created such a welcoming vibe. Big congratulations to Mr. Ky, the passionate owner behind the scenes, who has curated 6 unique burger recipes along with homemade chicken wings and delicious caramel flan.
