Tandoor Indian Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

A unique dining experience in the heart of Ho Chi Min. Very good food. A real journey to India. Thank you to Triloc Chand for his warm welcome, he has an excellent customer service and made us very comfortable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first visit to Tandoor to experience authentic Indian cuisine, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food was surprisingly approachable, with every dish perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. We started with a simple fresh salad and the famous street-food favorite, Pani Puri. It was an unexpected delight—the fresh herbs, cheese, and yogurt blended together beautifully, creating a refreshing and flavorful bite. Next came the coconut rice, made with fragrant Indian rice and toasted coconut, which paired perfectly with the classic chicken curry. The curry had a rich, aromatic flavor with a gentle level of spice, while the chicken was incredibly tender. The Cheese Naan was another highlight—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with melted cheese that added wonderful layers of flavor when dipped into the curry. We also enjoyed the grilled fish, marinated with traditional Indian spices such as cumin and herbs, giving it a fragrant and distinctive taste. There are still so many signature dishes on the menu that I'd love to come back and try. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and both the Vietnamese and Indian staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I especially appreciated that they proactively refilled our complimentary drinking water throughout the meal.

First time I enjoyed Indian cuisine, it was awesome, called 05 dished and I can assure that the flavor matches with VNmese people, but what surprised me the most was all the Indian staffs here can speak VNmese too, and they were very kind. The only thing that made me felt uneasy was the time to wait for the food is a lil' bit long, could be better if the staff can be more details on how long does it take for that specific dish. Overall, I love it, absolutely will come back in the future to enjoy the dishes here again.

This restaurant serves authentic Indian food. Besides good variety of Indian cuisine, the ambience of the restaurant is very nice. We a group of 8 Senior Citizens visited this restaurant on 11th March, the waiter seen in the first photo had served us. He served us very well. This being our first day in Vietnam, due to currency exchange confusion, a very low tip was handed over to this boy, which we later realised. Please convey our regrets for this and also thanks to him.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tandoor Indian Cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. We ordered several dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and some traditional desserts, and everything tasted amazing. The Masala Tea was also very flavorful and comforting. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. A special thanks to Ekam, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Ekam made our dining experience even more enjoyable with such warm and professional service. Overall, everything was perfect — great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian cuisine.
