Excellent ramen and a very satisfying late lunch. The Shiromaru Special was rich but well balanced, and a Sapporo worked perfectly with it. Followed up with karaage and a Kinmiya shochu, which was a great combination. Good food, good service, no fuss. Would happily come back.
A little pricey, but enjoyed the ramen. Recommend the salad with karage chicken. Very generous portion, and good taste. Sat at the 2-seat bar in the ground floor front room and enjoyed watching the kitchen operations which were very well organized and executed.
Amazing Japanese food! The ramen was filling and packed with flavor, and the thinly sliced meat was incredibly tender. My favorite by far has to be the chicken nanban appetizer—the sauce paired with the crispy fried chicken is absolutely delicious. I also loved the cucumber salad; I just wish there was a bit more chili seasoning on top, but that’s purely personal preference. The service is excellent as well. When you order, they give you an approximate time for when your food will be served, which I really appreciate. Everyone is kind and polite, and they greet you in Japanese both upon arrival and when you leave. I’ve already been back twice and love stopping by for a quick, satisfying bite. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!
We enjoyed our meal here, the price was good for the amount you get, the noodles are cooked to how you like them. The place has a nice atmosphere and I thought the layout and decor was nice.
For starters, we had something typical of London (according to the menu) and the recommendation of the restaurant. Both were delicious, but the recommendation is definitely worth trying! The ramen was also excellent. The Passion Vinegar goes well with it – I would recommend this as a drink.
