Excellent quality of food and service. The duck slices and pork belly assortment are must-orders. Great atmosphere too - my ears are still ringing from the staff shouting orders over the counter (but it’s fun)!

As usual, freshness is very important in Japanese cuisine. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The staff there speak fluent Chinese and were friendly in introducing the restaurant’s specialties.

The food was absolutely delicious—every dish burst with fresh, premium ingredients and masterful flavors that lingered long after the meal. From perfectly seasoned small plates to hearty mains, each bite felt like a celebration of Japanese cuisine.  The friendly service made the experience even better. The staff were attentive, warm, and genuinely passionate about their menu. They offered helpful recommendations, explained ingredients patiently, and ensured we felt completely taken care of throughout the evening—true hospitality that turned a simple dinner into a memorable one. The authentic Japanese vibe transported us straight to Tokyo. The cozy, minimalist interior with subtle wooden accents, soft lighting, and traditional touches created an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. It felt genuine, not gimmicky, perfect for unwinding after a busy day in Hong Kong. What truly stood out was the charcoal food. Grilled over high-quality binchotan charcoal, the skewers and proteins developed that signature smoky aroma and crisp-yet-juicy texture you only get from real charcoal grilling. The yakitori, seafood, and meats were elevated to another level—succulent, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying.  Highly recommended for date nights, family gatherings, or any special occasion. A great izakaya that’s well worth recommending. The straw-smoked mackerel and chicken liver are the highlights, offering a deep and authentic smoky flavor. The other dishes are also well-prepared and maintain a high standard throughout the menu.

Came for the beef tongue, found other dishes nice as well. Tried Lamb sashimi for the first time and it’s good.
