There’s quite a few Japanese dining options in this neighbourhood and this one is among the best. The menu is extensive but easy to understand, the dishes are way above average compared to similar places and the staffs are competent and friendly. We systematically have a great experience whenever we come here. One of the best Izakaya 👏
Had an amazing time. Food was amazing and pricedreasonably. The salmon bowl was so good. The flavours were subtle. They also serve fresh juice which is always welcome! Service was good and the place is semi private so it's comfortable. Will recommend and will come back soon!
I really enjoyed my solo dinner at this cozy Japanese restaurant The food was delicious. Salmon sashimi melted in my mouth and barbecue meat was great quality Staff was friendly and nice. Highly recommended
Pretty good Japanese izakaya restaurant with semi private tables that make the dining experience more comfortable. The food is solid overall and feels authentic. It’s actually quite rare to find an izakaya that also offers a real Japanese BBQ experience along with classic izakaya dishes, so that combination makes this place stand out. A nice spot if you want both grilled meats and small plates in one visit.
I’ve eaten many times at the District 1 branch, but this is my first time trying this location. The place was very quiet, not busy at all — only my table and one other. The service was okay. The staff were polite, but since I only ordered and paid without needing much support, it’s hard to evaluate more. The food was fine but nothing special. The skewers were quite ordinary, and the beef (which was the most expensive item) was a bit chewy. The hotpot broth was slightly too salty for my taste. Overall, it’s an okay place, but nothing particularly memorable.
