JJ Social Grill - Yakiniku restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I’ve visited already many restaurants in hcmc probably more than 300.. I must say, this was the worst one I ever went too ngl 😂 We took the buffet for two and ordered all the kinds of meat Dude.. I never ate meat with such a bad quality I actually don’t believe, that this was beef at all You guys are lucky, that I didn’t send a sample to the lab

The food's super fresh and good quality, especially the beef its really tender and premium. Prices are crazy high though, but they do give free dessert which is nice. Parking is kinda tough since it's all outdoor with no aircon.

I requested a table with air conditioning and they only have that on the basement floor they call "private room" so i was kinda bummed that i didnt get to experience the "japanese garden" style dining. Food was so so. Kinda bland for my taste but overall not too bad. But i wouldnt say amazing. Employees were nice and enthusiastic. Service is great. Price range is average for a dining place in D1. But i wouldnt say its cheap

The space is very impressive, airy, good music and not noisy. Very suitable for parties to chat together. Delicious, fresh food and enthusiastic staff. Try "Bia Me" very delicious. The toilet is also very clean, but there are too many other things besides hand sanitizer that are necessary.

The surroundings were quite charming, though I was so engrossed in the conversation that I didn’t pay much attention or take any photos. Maybe next time—if I’m back on a date (fingers crossed! 😆)—I’ll take a proper look. The prices lean toward upscale fine dining, as the portions are on the smaller side. But when the bill arrived, we were pleasantly surprised—it wasn’t as steep as we expected given what we ordered. So, not bad at all! What really stood out—and what makes me want to return—wasn’t just the food, location, or decor (though they were lovely). It was the **service**. Oh my gosh, the staff were incredible—professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. The highlight? As I was leaving, one of the front staff kindly offered his arm to help me down the paddy field steps, opened my car door, and even shielded my head as I got in. *Can you marry me?!* 😍 Overall? A perfect **10/10** 🖤
