Little HaNoi Egg Coffee - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

Best breakfast ever, egg coffee was delicious. Mango and avocado toast were amazing. My daughter said her ham and cheese ranks as a top 5 meal of all time :-)

We came here to try Vietnam's famous egg coffee for a new experience. At first sip, it tasted just like a rich, creamy custard. But as we slowly stirred the coffee from the bottom, the bitterness of the coffee blended with the sweetness of the egg cream surprisingly well. The balance of flavors was unique and delicious. We also ordered the egg dip with toast, which made the experience feel even more like having a dessert. It was rich, indulgent, and absolutely worth trying. If you're visiting Vietnam, this is something you shouldn't miss!

Excellent food and coffee as always! This branch really stands out for how clean and well-maintained it is compared to other locations. The atmosphere is also much quieter, making it a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, or catch up on some work without too much noise. Overall, a very pleasant experience with great food, great coffee, and a clean, peaceful environment. Highly recommended! 😊

On our very last day in Vietnam, we had one final mission, to say a proper goodbye to the legendary salt coffee. Having previously loved our lunch at a different Little Hanoi location, we knew we were in safe hands coming here. From the second we stepped inside, the staff was beyond attentive. The food was completely scrummy, and the coffee was just gorgeous. What made the visit extra special was a sweet little setup they have with a card explaining freebies hidden around the cafe, like postcards, cookies, wallets, and keychains. While they are technically free, you can leave a donation for charity. It was the perfect opportunity to give away our last bit of Vietnamese Dong change and pick up some beautiful local keepsakes. We will cherish these cute little souvenirs forever. If you are looking for amazing vibes, delicious food, and unmatched coffee to crown your time in Hanoi, this is the spot. Today we visited Little Hanoi for the second time, but our first time at this branch, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing for several reasons. First, when we were ordering, we wanted 2 pancakes and 2 coffees. Since it was our first time trying their pancakes, we didn’t know the portion sizes. Instead of politely explaining that one pancake portion is large enough for two people, the waiter reacted with comments like “You want two?!” and told us what we should order instead. It could have been handled in a much more professional and welcoming way. Second, while we were eating the mango toast, the server brought the pancakes and gave a little laugh, which honestly made us feel uncomfortable and judged. We’ve never experienced this kind of service before in Vietnam. Another issue is that the menu does not clearly mention how huge the portions are. If one dish is meant for sharing, it should be stated clearly to avoid confusion for customers ordering for the first time. As for the food itself, it was unfortunately not very enjoyable for us. Everything tasted overly sweet, and the whipped cream on the pancakes completely ruined the flavor because it didn’t taste very good. The mango and cheese combination also didn’t balance well in our opinion, and the pancakes were also burnt on the bottom. Overall, the unclear menu information and uncomfortable service affected our experience badly. I hope the staff can become more professional and make customers feel more welcomed in the future.
