We spent a full month in Ho Chi Minh City and struggled to find a spot that served a truly proper Western breakfast alongside a authentic, high-quality latte. Discovering Tartine Saïgon near the end of our trip was a game-changer! The Atmosphere & Layout: The space has two levels. The ground floor functions as an open-air bakery and coffee counter, while the upper floor offers a closed, private dining space. The upstairs is quiet, very clean, and perfectly air-conditioned, making it an ideal sanctuary to escape the chaotic energy of the city. Food & Drink: The Latte: Hands-down the best latte I had in Ho Chi Minh City! Many places in the city miss the mark on traditional Western-style lattes, but they nailed it here. The English Breakfast: Authentic, delicious, and very satisfying. Bakery Items: The fresh pastries and sourdough bread were fantastic. Service: The staff were extremely kind and attentive. Special shoutout to the manager, Jay, who actually made our coffees! He was incredibly welcoming and made sure our experience was top-tier. Pro Tips: If you prefer a quiet, cooler atmosphere (especially if you're an introvert like us!), ask to sit upstairs. The ground floor is open-air and can get a bit warm and noisy, whereas upstairs has closed doors, air conditioning, and much more privacy. Highly recommended!

Food is not unique but very good. Every dish is cooked to textbook perfection, so it's a very decent place to have textbook western cuisine. The pesto was much more olive oil based than normal pesto which was nice but left you wanting more. Something I noticed was every dish was also under seasoned and you had to self-salt it which is very restrained. Overall, it felt like the restaurant hired a chef and told them to create conservative versions of every Italian dish to appeal to as many diners as possible, which is good but leaves a little more to be desired.

Warm welcoming staff, great service! Had to ask them to turn the music down, the sound was pretty bad. They did turn it down which made the overall experience far more comfortable. I may have left otherwise although never threatened to do so! The food was decent, the cappuccino was served with the smallest cookie, not sure if it’s cute or plain wrong…

We found this gem near our hotel in District 3 and it did not disappoint. We shared the English Breakfast and it was outstanding—think crunchy hash browns, juicy sausage, crispy bacon, and eggs cooked to perfection. Highlights: The Freshness: We actually saw them making our smoothie from scratch, and you could definitely taste the quality. The Breakfast Sandwich: Super tasty and clearly used high-quality bread. The Vibe: The coffee was great, and the seating is incredibly comfortable. We loved sitting by the window with a nice street view of District 3. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is perfect for a slow, relaxed morning. If you’re staying in the area, this is a must-visit!

We’ve been to one of the other locations and had such a great meal that we decided to try this one out too and it was also amazing! The staff are all lovely and the food is delicious I highly recommend trying it out. They also have tons of air flow so it’s a nice break from the heat !
