Tung's Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from Vietnamese favourites to Western options. After seeing its impressive 4.9 Google rating, we decided to give it a try and visited on a Sunday evening for dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was already packed with a mix of locals and tourists. Fortunately, we were still able to get a table for three without too much of a wait. We ordered several Vietnamese favourites, including beef pho, bún chả, spring rolls, stir-fried morning glory, and a few other dishes. The food was served relatively quickly, and overall, everything tasted delicious and homely. A special mention goes to the stir-fried morning glory, which tasted very similar to what you would typically find in Malaysia and Singapore, although it was missing the distinctive belacan flavour. For me, the morning glory was good enough to have on its own with a bowl of rice! The prices are slightly on the higher side, which is understandable given the restaurant setting. The menu prices are displayed not inclusive of taxes, an additional 8% tax was added to the final bill, so it is worth taking note of this when budgeting. Overall, we had an enjoyable meal with tasty and comforting food. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant with a wide selection of dishes.
