Opt for the set meals as their main dishes are worth trying. Started with fresh salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, fish skin tossed with a sweet tart dressing. Next, meaty chunks of fried catfish, fish stomach and generous amounts of dill and spring onion, served pan fried in a stove table side. White noodles mixed with fresh shrimp paste, fish sauce, lime, peanuts and sugar are tossed along with the fish dish. Beware of the pale pickled chillies, they are spicy! The porridge, hearty and warming, is made up of mashy bits of boiled rice and fish crumbs. The set also includes a tofu dressing that's forgetable. Staff are helpful in translating details and providing information on the dishes. They also shared how the noodles were to be prepared.

Reviews
Fish are fresh and the staffs are helful recommending you on menu. Better sit on 2nd fl. Next to the window to enjoy Vietnamese motobike view while having your meal. Fish spring roll is surprisingly very yummy🐟
I love this dish so much! Ate so many times in Hanoi, and it's my first time eating it in Ho Chi Minh. The food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. They offer to cook it before serving it to you at the table. I wish they could give more vegetables in the set
Forst time trying this dish. Everthing was really delicious. The fish skin salad and the porridge wich we only hadbecause it came with the combo were my favorites. However towards the end of the meal we did sea a cockroach walking between the tables, do with this information as you wish.
I picked this place as I saw many good reviews but it's such a disappointment. The restaurant looks old, filthy and somehow musty smell. It's literally empty. The portion is small for the price. We order Chả cá the most pricy option in the menu and there's only 5 pieces of fish! the noodles was cold and seemed old. We asked the waiter about the menu, he said he's not sure... So do they train them or not? I was too disappointed & not bother to take picture. I brought my husband here expecting the real authentic Chả cá lã vọng which he loves so much, and a friend from oversea, i was embarrassed afterwards. We got home with empty stomaches! Not sure about other branches but definitely will not come back here
