I super love the pad thai! We also ordered tom yum fried rice and thai crab fried rice (sorry no pics) but personally love the tom yum one. A little spicy for me but it tastes good that it never bothered me. Ordered also grilled pork jowl with special sauce (no pics too, sorry) but I can’t take the spiciness on the sauce. Love the chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, it tastes so good (no pics again, sorry). Free coffee if dining in on 2-4pm. We ate here twice when we were in Ho Chi Minh.
We had lunch and it was only one my meal today for us, got strong food poisoning. Probably due to salmon salad, we could taste that fish was not the fresh one immediately and stop eating after 1 piece. Shrimps also were not so good, although hard to notice after boiled in spicies… Tomatoes in tom yum was really big pieces with skin still on, so hard to bite, also tom yum really lucking ingredients, just few mushrooms tomatoes and few shrimps. Not the worst thai restaurant, but definitely not get back and not deserved so high rating..
Perfect! The service was super professional. The food tasted unexpectedly yummy. I don't remember the exact name of the food, but everything we ordered was so good, even the bubble tea Khap Khap is located in District 3, but the price is not so high. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and stayed until the closing time.
Beautiful spot, air-conditioned rooms for qhen its warm outside or enjoy a nice booth or table out in the courtyard. Amazing plants all-round and friendly service. The price is reasonable and the food is very well presented. If you are travelling in Ho Chi Minh City close to Saigon ward or the Ben Thanh Markets, this place is a must try. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and it was amazing! There is also a Vegetarian menu for those that are vegetarian. You can order from both menus and they are happy to oblige. I am extremely disappointed with this place. We chose it solely because of the perfect 5/5 rating and thousands of reviews, which I now believe must be fake or a scam because the reality was awful. We ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp, Pad Thai, chicken with cashews, and tamarind eggs for a starter. The service was incompetent from the start, our appetizer arrived last, when we were already almost finished eating the mains, which makes no sense. The portions were shockingly small compared to other places in Ho Chi Minh City, usually, we are full after sharing two dishes, but here we ordered four and still left half-hungry because we refused to spend any more time or money in this place. The food quality was poor, specifically the chicken, which looked badly butchered and unappetizing, while the overall flavors were just average and nothing special. To make matters worse, when we wanted to leave, we had to wait 10 minutes just to get the bill because the staff completely ignored us. This is a terrible restaurant that I advise everyone to avoid, do not trust the hype.
