MAGURO Studio - Japanese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Probably the best sushi I’ve had in Saigon , at least for me. The ingredients are imported from Japan and you can really taste the quality. And the service , honestly , what can I say? Absolutely incredible. I travel to Japan quite often and honestly , this place is even better than some Japanese restaurants I’ve tried in Japan. I would especially recommend the white fish and the tuna. The salmon is good too , but nothing particularly special if you’re European , where you can find salmon that is usually much better. The chef also explains everything with a little booklet , which I thought was a really nice touch and made the experience even more interesting. Thanks Thiep chef You are the Best I’m honestly surprised this place doesn’t have a Michelin star yet. Hopefully they will get the recognition they deserve soon.

Food was amazing and very fresh. One of the better omakase experience in Saigon by far! Ly gave us outstanding service and was very informative with every dish!

Incredible omakase and excellent service. Fish quality was top-notch. We thought it was just the right amount of food to leave you comfortably full. I couldn't help myself and ended up ordering some Fuji musk melon à la carte to see what a premium melon was all about. While it was certainly good and I'm glad I tried it to satisfy my curiosity, I don't see myself ordering it again.

Thankful to have made reservations for dinner as it was full on a Friday evening. Chose to order Alacarte and all 5 dishes were delicious and memorable. Sakes' are on a higher priced range. Service was attentive but not overwhelming. Happy to have made acquaintances with Thien who represents the service & professionalism level of the restaurant. There's discount dining here if guests of Kin Hotel Dong Du.
