A fantastic Japanese restaurant I discovered by accident — and one I genuinely wanted to love. The food is excellent, and the service is superb. The lunch set menus, in particular, are thoughtfully put together and offer great value. On those fundamentals, the restaurant delivers at a very high level. However, there is one issue that significantly detracts from the overall experience — and it’s something management should take seriously. The pricing of basic beverages is simply not defensible. A single can of Pepsi Light was charged at 170,000 VND (roughly $6.50), and a pot of chamomile tea at 270,000 VND (about $10). These are multiples far beyond any reasonable restaurant markup, and notably out of line with what you would encounter even in Japan, where pricing standards in reputable establishments tend to be far more balanced. This isn’t about affordability — it’s about principle and perceived fairness. When pricing crosses into what feels excessive or opportunistic, it undermines trust and leaves a negative aftertaste that even great food can’t fully offset. I would absolutely return for the quality of the cuisine, but I would be very cautious about ordering anything beyond the core menu. It’s a shame, because with more reasonable pricing practices, this place could easily be a standout recommendation without reservations.

Amazing food and great atmosphere! There are tatami mat rooms and a sushi bar! A three part me for around 500k only! Amazing staff. Our server, Jade, was wonderfully sweet and all our food came just on time! A very nice Japanese atmosphere that feels as if I'm there! There were even Korean translators! Even the toilets were luxurious they had a bidet, dryer, seat warmer and UV so you don't have to be worried about germs! They even provide lotion by the sink with soap! Been here 3 times over the last 5 years and couldn't get enough! Will definitely come here next time I come to Vietnam!

Yoshino offers fresh sushi and a variety of delicious options, all beautifully decorated. I highly recommend their lunch set. The attentive staff, nice view, and artistic dish presentations make every visit enjoyable. Whether for a casual meal or special occasion.

Had a delightful fine dining experience at Yoshino Japanese Restaurant in Lotte Hotel Hanoi. The chic and chill ambiance set the perfect tone for an elegant evening. Each dish was delicately crafted, beautifully presented, and rich in authentic Japanese flavours. A top choice for Japanese cuisine lovers seeking quality, calm, and class in the heart of the city. #YoshinoJapaneseRestaurant #LotteHotelHanoi #JapaneseFineDining #HanoiEats #AuthenticJapanese #SushiLovers #ElegantEats #FoodieVietnam #ChicDining
