Before my business trip, I had already bookmarked a few restaurants near my hotel, and this was one of them. I went there absolutely starving. Despite the on-and-off rain, the place had a well-covered canopy, so I could still enjoy my meal at an outdoor table — weather wasn’t an issue at all. Since I was alone, I could only order two dishes and a few bottles of beer. I guess they didn’t expect much business from a solo diner, so I was tucked away in a corner — but thanks to one very kind waitress, everything turned out great. The beer was cold, the food was fantastic, and somehow… everything just tasted exceptionally good. I’m not sure what it was, but the flavor really hit me — like a shock that made me question all those fancy Michelin restaurants I’ve tried before. What is this place? I think I’ll have to come back again while I’m staying here. Yesterday I was too tired from the long flight, meetings, and a cold, so maybe I couldn’t fully enjoy it. Next time, I’ll be back — and I’ll definitely have a few more beers. 출장가기 전부터 숙소근처의 음식집을 검색해서 체크해놓았던 곳 중에 하나. 너무 배가 고파서 갔는데 비가 계속 내리기를 반복함에도 천장에 천막이 잘 설치되어서 날씨 상관없이 야외테이블에서 먹을 수 있다. 많이 먹고 마셔야 매상이 올를텐데 혼자가서 기껏해야 음식 2개에 맥주 몇병을 시키니 구석에서 홀대를 받았으나 너무 친절한 여직원 덕에 맥주도 맛나게 먹고 음식도 맛있게 먹고 나왔다. 뭔지 모르겠는데 여기 음식이 너무 맛있었다. 미슐랭 레스토랑을 찾아다니는 내 뒷통수를 후드러 맞는 충격정도의 맛. 여기 뭐지? 흠..한번 더 가봐야겠다 여기 묶는 동안. 어제는 장시간 비행과 업무의 피로 그리고 감기로 인해 실력발휘를 못했거든. 다시 가서 먹어보께. 그땐 맥주를 더 마셔주마.
