Soo Kafe - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

Soo Kafe Bến Thành is one of those hidden gems that feels like you’ve stumbled into a secret world. Tucked away in a small, dimly lit alley, the journey to the café already sets a mysterious mood before you even step inside. The interior reminds me of an old bookstore combined with a cozy comic book library. Shelves filled with books, warm lighting, and the quiet atmosphere make it the perfect place to escape the busy streets outside. Despite its small size, every corner feels thoughtfully designed and incredibly inviting. The drink menu is surprisingly extensive, offering plenty of choices whether you’re into specialty coffee, tea, or creative signature beverages. It’s easy to spend hours here reading, chatting with friends, or simply enjoying the peaceful ambiance. If you’re looking for a café with character rather than just another Instagram spot, Soo Kafe Bến Thành is definitely worth a visit. The unique atmosphere alone makes it memorable, and the wide selection of drinks is the icing on the cake.

Just got back to Vietnam for a few weeks and happened to walk past this café, so I decided to give it a try. I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly not too noisy for such a central area. The drinks suited my taste, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I stopped in for a short break before continuing my day, but ended up staying a bit longer because it felt so relaxing. If I get the chance to visit Saigon again, I’d definitely come back 😊

Really enjoyed spending time at Soo Kafe near Ben Thanh in Saigon. The cafe is full of books and has a calm, cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place to work or read quietly for a few hours. The drinks were very nice, and I also loved the Vietnamese snacks they served. A relaxing little spot in the middle of the busy city.

Soo Kafe is conveniently located right next to Ben Thanh Market. The entrance is a bit of a hidden gem—you’ll need to go up some stairs to reach the cafe on the third floor, but it is well worth the discovery. I ordered the Cream Cheese Coffee and it was delicious. It had the perfect amount of creaminess and balanced the coffee perfectly. The atmosphere is beautiful, featuring floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that make it feel very cozy and peaceful. The staff were also very kind and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

Aesthetic cafe, calm and chill vibe. Coffee is good (espresso) while the food is a bit oily but good for snacks. It’s located on top of the building and need to walk through a narrow alley that feels like an underground bunker.
