One of the best facility in the area. Affordable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bit crowded after 5pm as per usual. However theres just one Smith machine on the 3rd floor, so it’s almost always taken.

TXT GYM - Gym in Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
TXT Gym occupies three floors on Lương Định Của in District 2, making it one of the more substantial independent gyms in the Thao Dien corridor. Equipment spans the full range of strength training hardware — squat racks are plentiful, plate-loaded machines cover multiple floors, and a functional cable setup rounds out the free weights area. The one recurring bottleneck is the single Smith machine on the third floor, which stays occupied during peak hours. Anyone arriving after 5pm on weekdays should expect a busier floor.
Cleanliness is a consistent strength: sanitizer spray is available throughout, changing rooms outperform expectations, and hygiene standards hold up across reviews spanning multiple visits from different regulars. Staff are described across reviews as genuinely helpful rather than hands-off, and trainers on the floor are noted for their knowledge.
Pricing divides slightly depending on how you visit. Monthly memberships are considered strong value given the equipment quality and central Thao Dien location. The day pass rate, however, draws repeated criticism from short-term visitors and expats passing through — a practical consideration for anyone not committing to a longer stay. Those who train here regularly on return trips to Saigon tend to buy short-term memberships instead.
Group fitness classes run alongside open floor access, broadening the offering beyond a pure iron gym. Ventilation varies by level across the three floors; air conditioning units run throughout, though the smaller room sizes on upper floors concentrate heat more than a single large hall would.
The membership base skews toward local residents and long-term expats from the surrounding An Khánh and Thao Dien area, drawn primarily by equipment that visibly outclasses most nearby alternatives at comparable price points. Early morning and midday slots remain the quietest windows for anyone who prioritizes space over schedule flexibility.
Reviews
For the past year or so, whenever I'm back in Saigon, I train here. They offer some reasonably priced membership options, however their day pass is unnecessarily expensive - in my opinion. Overall, their equipment is a lot better than their nearby competitors. Plenty of Squat racks and plate loaded machines, with a decent cable set-up too. The staff seem pleasant and it's clean, with sanitizer spray provided. However, on 3 or 4 occasions now, someone has been smoking in the male changing room - which needs to be stopped. At times, the number of 'influencers' with their tripods, videographers and equipment sprawled everywhere can become quite a nuisance. I understand, it may be advantageous to the gym due to the free advertising. But when it's hampering the everyday gym goer's workout, then perhaps some ground rules need be set. I'm regularly having to ommit exercises due to a piece of equipment or whole area being taken-over for 30+mins for someone's personal vanity project. I get that this is the way things are nowadays, but numerous times the 'influencers' at this gym behave as if they have priority over the rest of us - which they do not! Believe it or not, some of us simply want to get our workout in, and then get on with the rest of our day. All-in-all it's a decent gym. However, at certain times your patience may be tested.
Gonna give 4 stars but always no hand soap in toilet 1st floor => -2 stars for that
Nice boutique gym laid out on 3 floors, not huge but adequate if you come in the non -peak hours. Very good standard of hygiene and maintenance, sanitiser sprays available. They were just two clicks away from knocking UNITY Thu Duc off top spot as the best ventilated gym visited in HCMC, cause the rooms are slightly smaller so it's felt more, but as they had two A/C ceiling units off, they rank 2nd. The ceiling fans were doing most of the work, but still good. The locker/shower room very clean and slick in look, but small, only two showers. The lockers are very new, but they are deposit boxes. The main issue for me is space and not really that much equipment, most of it is fixed bar benches that offer little versatility (only for experienced users without a spotter) a much better idea would have been to replace two of these benches with smith cage racks which offer a plethora of options, in the small allocated space. On the 2nd floor, there is a smith and two squat racks and equipment focused on abs and legs. On both floors however, there's a free weight section, which is nice. A pulley cable frame available but a little contained, will feel very congested in the peak times. Cardio area on the 3rd floor with a good selection, very new machines, I tried the Impulse ellipticals, well maintained. I paid 200k day pass, no towel but free water dispenser available with option to a box (needs own padlock) Not huge value to be fair, but I looked at the membership packages and saving options, and looked reasonable. I think you could pay down to 349000 d a month if you choose one of the longer packages here. In Body 270 also available and a small settee area in the lobby that's very airy
The new TXT Gym Center boasts brand-new equipments, a variety of classes, and knowledgeable trainers. The facility is impeccably clean, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey. Highly recommended!
