Tran Pizza - Pizza restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

A small and charming restaurant tucked away on a side street. The pizza was exceptionally well made, delicious, light, and fluffy. The staff/owner all spoke good English and were friendly.

My normal go to for Pizza in Saigon are Pizza 4P, Basta Hiro and Truffle and Co. I must say Trần Pizza holds its own. Flavours and taste are of course subjective and all the places I mentioned also make great pizzas but the magic at Trần’s is that you’re seated in a small “hole in the wall” eatery where the pizza reaches your table about 30secs after it has come out of their petite Ooni gas fired pizza stove. That freshness together with a flavourful crust and tasty toppings make for a satisfying eating experience. The kicker comes from the great value for money they offer. Will definitely return.

This is one of the hidden jewels in Ho Chi Minh City for pizza lovers! I was here 13 months ago and had to come back. Hieu did not disappoint. Tran Pizza will always be a place I visit every time I visit HCMC!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Vietnam. Thin crust, chewy dough, crispy edges. Well balanced toppings. Mind-blowing taste. Would be nice if they’d sell wine by glass. Busy place, full of foreigners. Highly recommend.

Probably the best pizza you can get in HCMC, up there with pizza from Italy or even Japan in my opinion. The crust is also ridiculously good. Firm, not too soggy or too stiff. The truffle pizza is next level stuff. The only downside is the space is kind of small, so getting a table for a large group or on weekends might be difficult. Also there’s no AC so it’s kind of warm. Still, the pizza more than makes up for everything.
