Kashew Cheese Phú Mỹ Hưng - Vegan restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Kashew has been delicious since day one. With high quality ingredients with taste to perfection. We ordered pizza and their salad then got their cheeses, cream cheese, and pestos.

We stopped in for lunch and ordered a cashew cheese and mushroom panini and the Bella vita panini. Along with a passion fruit juice and a cappuccino. We found the atmosphere here was nice with very a Parisian influence and definitely catering to a westerner customers’ taste. The sandwiches we ordered were very creamy and very rich. The mushroom panini more so than the Bella vita. They are very tasty, but some might find them a bit much for their taste. We probably should have ordered one sandwich and a salad to balance it out. Service was good.

This cafe was first on my list to take my vegan friends when they were visiting HCMC. It turned out to be the right call, and we went back a couple more times during their visit. It’s located on a quiet side street in D7, with a serene atmosphere and an Italian-inspired menu built around a selection of homemade cashew cheeses. On my three visits to the cafe (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), I got to try the Mozza Pesto and Pesto Rosso sandwiches, the Aubergine Ricotta pasta, plus the Aubergine Olive and Fantastic Funghi pizzas. The sandwich fillings were delicious, generous, and fresh, as was the sourdough holding them. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, and the topping combinations were accurate. The pasta was also good; however, the sauce could have been reduced a little more. I’ve tried (and made) my fair share of vegan cheeses in the past and can confidently say Kashew’s were all excellent and well used in the various dishes on the menu. While the food isn’t cheap, the quality, portion sizes, and the fact that the cheeses are all house-made make it good value overall. The weak spot was the drinks. We tried the hot cashew latte, which was served lukewarm and too weak, and the avocado coffee, which was just ok. Most of the wines and local beers were also unavailable during our dinner visit. Worth a repeat? For sure! This cafe delivers a consistent experience every time and is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a casual dinner.

This place in D7 is a gem! The atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly. Their sandwiches are surprisingly filling for a vegan spot, and the cashew cheese selection is fantastic. Be sure to try their apple cinnamon smoothie—it's a total delight!

This café is located in the Midtown area. It was my first visit, and I really enjoyed the calm and cozy atmosphere — it felt very welcoming and comfortable. I ordered the avocado toast; while the portion was a bit small, the flavor was excellent and truly delicious. The coffee had a strong, bitter taste of robusta beans, which wasn’t quite to my liking. I hope they consider using higher-quality beans in the future. I didn’t get a chance to try them this time, but it looked like they also offer some gluten-free options, which is a nice touch.
