I’ve only had Singapore-style char kway teow before, so this was my first time trying the Malaysian version. I actually prefer this one because it’s less sweet and much lighter on the seasoning and oil. If you’re hungry, I’d recommend the upsized portion like I got. The noodles were still chewy and springy even after sitting for 30 minutes before I ate them. It also had a nice, subtle wok hei aroma

The restaurant is selling the best malaysia penang style fried noodle. For those who miss the food from Malaysia, such as noodle soup and fried noodles, maybe this is the place you should visit. The price is reasonable, the food is tasty.

My char kway teow didnt have the wok hei taste and wasnt seasoned well this time. The soup noodle was kinda salty.

Good option for those craving for Penang-style Malaysian food. The winner is the Char Kway Teow - a classic Penang favorite. Service is fast. Food is freshly cooked at the front of the store. PRO TIP: For a more authentic meal, order a cup of Tea Terak (milk tea).

The place looks smaller than I thought. Char Kway Teow got wok hei taste but the cockles are small. The prawn mee are way off authentic. I can say they have adjusted the taste to the locals rather than keep to Penang taste. But still if you are craving for MY food, this place is ok.
