⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brick & Barrel was absolutely amazing! The food tasted just like home and really reminded me of the USA. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. If you’re an American looking for a taste of home while traveling, this is definitely the place to visit. The Old Fashioned was also on point—perfectly balanced and one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Great food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Small place. Feel stuffy. Cozy ambiance. Variety of pizza toppings. We ordered 2 large 40cm half-half. Crust is very thin. It gets soggy easily, can't hang on its own weight.. Chicken Ceasar Salad was good. Prices are on the high side. Draft beers were served icy cold. The short hair with nose ring waitress speaks good English. WC are on 2 flight stairs so don't get too drunk.
TL;DR: if you want honest to goodness American burgers, onion rings, pizza, and cheese sticks, aimed at Americans without trying to cater to three local palette. this is your spot. --- When I visit Vietnam the thing I'm usually dismayed about is the blandness of many things (think lack of char and salt) and the tiny portions. A lot of the time American dishes are adapted to have a less in-your-face flavor profile and to hit a price point that locals can afford. Brick and Barrel is one of the places that doesn't do that, and man it shows. What we have here is a place that serves a proper, nicely charred burger that's definitely over a quarter pound, with nice smoky crispy bacon. They have proper large slices of onion rings that are well breaded and fried, and the mozzarella sticks are spot on stretchy, melty cheese. The pizza also has some good leopard spotting. I'm honestly impressed, and this is the type of place that if it were in America would fit in just fine. If you suddenly have an itch for American food while visiting Vietnam, this will hit the spot. Be warned, the prices would also kinda fit right in America too. Think $8-$9 USD for a burger and side. It's not as bad for someone who's used to the equivalent in Chicago, but it'll likely be some sticker shock if you're local to Vietnam.

Overall a nice and easy place to grab a bite if you’re craving some western food. Presentation of both Burger and pizza was great but both tasted only just ok. agree with some previous comments - the pizza taste is just normal, leaning more to the salty side and the cheese does tend to just slide off in one piece. Onion rings are over breaded. Fine for a casual meal if you’re an expat craving a beer and some pub grub.
