Opera - Italian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I used to love dining at Opera Restaurant. The setup is beautiful, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere. However, the food quality has changed considerably over time, which was disappointing and no longer reflects the experience I once enjoyed.

Beautiful ambiance, great service - the staff really took care of us; answered our questions; had great recommendations. The food was delicious! The buffet was incredible - wide variety of choices, well done, quite tasty. The drinks - the juice and the coffees were quite flavorful. Sofia was fantastic!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Park Hyatt Saigon! The food was excellent — fresh, beautifully presented, and a great selection of dishes. Special thanks to Hung and Thy for taking great care of our table — they were friendly and attentive. Only one small note: the service team could use a few more staff during busy hours, as the restaurant was quite full. Still, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Our family always enjoys spending our special occasions at Park Hyatt, and we’ll definitely come back again!

Sophisticated Breakfast Buffet (Made to Order style) & Italian Cuisine Whilst staying as Park Hyatt guests , we enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a good selection of international classics and Viet signatures. All these made to order dishes were artisanal using quality, fresh ingredients- we would recommend everything from fragrant brothy pho noodle soups, crepes with homemade tangy marmalade and 5 different wild honeys, crusty Bahn Mi , crispy pastries , molten poached egg Benedict with foamy hollandaise sauce, frozen coconut yogurt bowl, and the more. If there is one thing we would wish to have- finer coffees. We were back for Italian lunch. We especially like the squid ink pasta, the Italian style tiramisu (well soaked and with the cheese that meltingly ‘slides off’ when sliced) , homemade coconut ice cream sticks and made to order cannolis . All staff are professional and friendly. 5/5 well deserved

Impressive restaurant, with some of the best pizzas in Saigon (it’s this and 4Ps), incredible daily specials like the seafood soup and a gorgeous space with an outdoor courtyard. The wine list is really excellent and the food is super authentic and impressive Italian. If you’re a hotel guest, the breakfast buffet and menu is one of the best and classiest, with Le Creusset servings, ham on the bone, the best bacon and baked goods and Vietnamese and Asian food. Huy and his manager Thao were extra helpful, exceptional, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and they had great knowledge of the local areas, wine and food. We were so grateful and loved using Opera as a base. There’s a reason lots of people have their birthday here and like to celebrate in the restaurant.
