this place is AUTHENTIC ITALIAN restaurant. the food, the ambience and the freshness of ingredients are really well thought out and made with love. they have the BEST FOCACCIA I HAVE EVER TASTED IN HCMC. recommending this to everyone I know 10/10 😫🍕🥺😍✨
Tried Antico Fornaio for lunch today. Overall, a good experience. The focaccia itself is very good, with a nice texture and clearly high-quality ingredients. The fillings are generous and well balanced. My only small criticism is that the focaccia sandwiches could have been served a little warmer - I think it would have made them even better. The tiramisu was also very enjoyable, creamy and nicely done, and the drinks were refreshing. The setting is casual and pleasant, and service was friendly. The main point to keep in mind is the price positioning. At around VND 1.17 million for two people including drinks, dessert, service and VAT, this is definitely a premium-priced casual lunch in HCMC. The quality is there, but so is the price. Good food and good ingredients - worth trying, provided you are comfortable with the premium pricing.
If you like foccacia this is THE place to be. Crunchy bread, savoury & sweet flavours intermingle; we ordered the Napoletana, perfect for two to share for afternoon tea! They also add a lime slice for Coke which is a plus <3 They gave us a lovely tiramisu as well hehe
Saw this on TikTok and had to try it! The focaccia was delicious 😋 Loved how the bread was thinner, crusty and crunchy, a bit different to the usual fluffy focaccia. The fillings were tasty and generous. The service was excellent. Highly recommend if you’re in District 1!
Hidden gem located l in B2 of Union Square, right by one of the escalators. Thoroughly enjoyed my vegana foccacia- crispy toasted bread and generous fillings..and that tiramisu was authentically Italian. Perfect stop for a quick meal!
