The Story

About This Place

Trốn Cà Phê operates on a split schedule that defines its identity: daytime café from 7 AM until 5 PM, when the space transitions into a bar for evening service. The design aesthetic runs toward clean lines and deliberate detail — a tone described by visitors as quiet confidence rather than trend-chasing. The venue sits on Đường Số 47 in An Khánh ward, a quieter side street that matches the unhurried tempo inside. A garden area provides an outdoor option alongside the compact interior, where low ceilings are worth noting for taller guests. The coffee program takes both robusta and arabica seriously; both land smooth with a fruity, gently sweet finish that lingers after the cup is finished. Among the regulars, bạc xỉu draws consistent loyalty, and the Cold Brew Lemon is the standing afternoon recommendation. Staff are professional and consistently described as attentive without being intrusive. The crowd skews style-conscious — a mix of expats and design-aware locals who treat the space as a focused work retreat or a low-key catch-up rather than a destination for group outings. Pricing sits above casual neighborhood rates, and the venue runs cash-only, worth knowing before arriving. Across 214 Google reviews averaging 4.6, consistent praise covers coffee quality, atmosphere, and service in roughly equal measure. The dual café-bar format means the character shifts depending on the hour — the daytime version is built around calm and coffee; the evening version is a different proposition entirely.

Walked past this place many times before finally stepping in. I’m picky with spaces. If it feels try-hard, I’m out. This one? Quiet confidence. Clean lines. Thoughtful details. As someone who builds a brand around natural gemstones and intentional design, I’m very aware of atmosphere. This place feels grounded. If our taste aligns, you’ll probably like what I create too. You know where to find me 😉 IG: Shanti.Gems22

Great stylish location, you pay for it. And stylish young ppl... Coffe is good but it contains mostly ice. No credit card accepted in spite of the premium prices. Low ceiling, be careful with your head if you are around 1.80cm tall. 🤕

Great coffee shop with delicious drink and professional service. Only small downside is the low ceilling and it close at 17h to switch to bar after. A part from that this is a must try for people who wants to experience cool vibes.

I might have found the best coffee shop in town! Both the robusta and Arabica coffee are amazingly tasty. The after tase is even better, smooth and fruity with a touch of gentle sweet. Combine with the chilling atmosphere it brings out a calm and soothing feeling for me. Just 10/10.
