The Story

About This Place

Tullia Coffee sits on a quiet stretch of Võ Oanh in Binh Thanh, a short walk off the main road—far enough that the ambient noise drops away at the door. The two-floor space is low-lit in the manner of a bar rather than a bright café, with enough tables upstairs to accommodate a few people running deadlines or reading through an afternoon. The design is deliberate: clean lines on the exterior, warm and dim inside, with a playlist that multiple regulars single out as genuinely well-curated.

The menu leans coffee-forward with some crossover into Vietnamese-style tea drinks. The salted cream coffee is the standout—the saltiness is calibrated rather than gimmicky, and the coffee base is notably strong, even for daily heavy drinkers. The trà sữa lài (jasmine milk tea) offers a lighter alternative for those who want something fragrant without a full espresso hit. The matcha ca phe reads as a Vietnamese interpretation of the format rather than a refined Japanese matcha—honest about what it is. Pricing sits around 40,000–50,000 VND for most drinks, which puts it at the affordable end for this type of setting.

The crowd skews toward students and solo workers, which sets the tone: conversations stay low, no one is rushed out, and the staff—who speak some English—keep service attentive without hovering. It functions best for groups of four or fewer; the space would feel tight with more. The location slightly off the main drag explains why most people arrive by accident the first time and by choice every time after.

📍 ᴛᴜʟʟɪᴀ ᴄᴏꜰꜰᴇᴇ - I couldn't resist trying the Trà sữa lài, and it was just like a milk tea but definitely did it for me since I wasn't craving for a full coffee. I also sampled their Matcha Ca Phe, which was , as expected, Vietnamese Matcha. With a diverse menu and affordable prices, Tullia offers a fantastic selection for any craving! The staff here is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time. Even during busy hours, I found that the wait for drinks was totally worth it, each sip was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their offerings.

Last time I was here was half a year ago. The place was decent, but it seems like the quality of drinks has decreased a lot.

Cosy cafe with a warm ambience. Plenty of table options and quite spacious with 2 levels. Tables are suitable for working with laptop. Staffs are kind and helpful. The menu offers an okay variety, mostly basic drinks. I had salted cream coffee which was perfect in terms of saltiness and depth. Their coffee is strong, even for me who drinks heavy caffeine on a daily basis. Matcha isn't so good, probably because of the quality of the matcha itself. Their playlist well curated. Defo recommend to those visiting the area.

A great, small cafe hangout spot. Good for: -Small group hangouts (4 and below) -Running deadlines and studying sessions -Just chilling by yourself to the vibe The staff were friendly, and drinks were priced reasonably (and tasted good). I would highly recommend the location is a little out of the way from the main road, so you get to enjoy some peace.

I found this place accidently and fortunately. This cafe is peaceful place and the staffs are kind enough. Most of customers are students. So, the price in here is reasonable. I like this peaceful place.
