An absolute 5-star experience at Dragon Hot Pot! The broth is rich, aromatic, and packed with flavor. You can choose your own fresh ingredients, everything from shrimp and baby octopus to various delicious meatballs and mushrooms. The interior is modern, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a vibrant Chinese-inspired aesthetic. Staff are attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended for hot pot lovers

While I was extremely disappointed at the Cao Thang joint in my prior 2 attempts, I decided to give Dragon Hotpot another chance after hearing it has improved from my friends. Food: Nice soup, still a bit too sweet compared to how I remember it back in Melbourne. The price has gone down significantly since we last visited, which I think make sense because before, 2 of us cost 900k for a meal (don't even compare this to Haidilao), but now it costs around 250k for 2. Also, no more food poisoning this time, which is a massive improvement in my opinion 👮 Staff: one girl was very nice and helpful, the rest of them were dancing to EDM music and chatting to each other loudly while guests are having meal. This is insane from a customer service stand point Space: food trays area and sauce area are extremely messy and moist (not inside the containers, outside). Wonder what staff were doing if not wiping all that. There were some big cleaning equipments put right at the middle of the restaurant during operating hours, in front of where guests come to pick food. Lastly, the freaking club music. I really don't get this, DH Melbourne didn't do this, where's this idea coming from? You guys are ruining EDM and eating for everyone 😀 Altogether, i might still come back sometimes due to the nostalgia, but seriously guys, please fix these issues, it's not hard.

First time trying out this Hotpot chain from Australia and I must say the experience was pretty good. While the meat selection was rather limited compared to other Hotpot restaurants (they only had 4 types of meat i.e. slice beef/pork belly, sliced beef shank & pork loin), the topping selection (veggies, carbs, meat/fish balls, seafood, etc) was huge. The dipping sauces and drinks selection was also big as well. My Sichuan hot & sour broth was pretty tasty as well (an interesting combination of spiciness, a slight hint of sourness/tartness and richness/nuttiness from the peanuts/sesame seeds). One thing I didn't like was during the weighting process, the shells from the abalone/scallops/mussels weren't removed (which is a pretty sneaky way of racking up the price tbh). Nevertheless, my bill came around at ~312k (excluding drinks) which I thought was fair. If you don't have as big of an appetite like myself then I'm sure yours will sit around at 250k.

The ingredients are fresh and the broth choices are delicious. A little pricey if not manage pick ingredients well since they price by weight. Good ideas to share if you not a big eater Came here with family and had a good time.

the selection here is leet!!! there are soooo many toppings to choose from it was hard to hold back! the broth is delicious, well balanced! they have a variety of soup options (or dry/stir fry) with your choice of spice level! i like mine spicy so i usually go for the second hottest but i know locals here arent used to it yet - so i recommend getting the level 2 spice! food was delicious! i seriously cant stop thinking about all the different toppings to choose from, and their sauce station!
