I thought I was in the wrong place at first since it’s tucked away in a small alley. The food took some time to be served, but it was worth the wait. The tonkatsu in particular was very tender, probably the softest I’ve had.

The tofu and saba set is DELICIOUS- felt transported to japan! Also accidentally ordered a pork sando and asked if they could switch it and they gave me a cheesecake instead to takeaway since I am not eating meat. Such good service!!

About 3 minutes down the alley with small families living along the way. The atmosphere once you enter the store is lovely. Kitchen is on the first floor with dining area on the second floor. You need to take off your shoes to go upstairs. The foods were amazing especially the fried chicken. Next to my favourites were Okinawa rice wrap, pork cutlets, and grilled fish. The only thing that I really didn't like was the triangle rice ball. They were too soft to pick up and has a herb taste I didn't quite like. The prices were pretty good considering the quality of the food prepared. I will definitely bring my friends and family again.

Go a long way down an ally, seems sketchy but actually totally safe with families living there. Once you find the tiny entrance the welcome is warm and friendly! Service is excellent, comfy seating and of course the food is homely and comforting. I love that they have mini servings of things as I like trying different dishes. I ordered way too much food but the price was very reasonable and everything was delicious!! I tried the mixed sandwich, two mini bowls, a croquet and the cheesecake. I absolutely LOVE that the cheesecake was just on its own - so many times people add fruit or something, and for me, that takes away from a good cheesecake. It doesn't need anything when it's this good. One of the best cheesecakes I have ever had in my life. So glad I didn't let me full belly stop me from ordering it and when I couldn't finish it they happily gave me a takeaway container. Well worth the effort to visit here and I'll be back next time in in Ho Chi Minh 🙂

Small and cozy place located in a small, quiet alley in the middle of HCMC. Great, hearty comfort food. Portion is quite large for an average Vietnamese so they also offer mini bowls for those who want to try different dishes. We often order via delivery services so we didn’t expect the place to be this cozy and well decorated.
