KYOBASHI - Sushi Izakaya Restaurant - Izakaya restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

So I went this izakaya after seeing the good reviews, but surprisingly there's literally zero customer beside us. We ordered some sashimi, sushi, roll and creamy undon every dishes was very disappointing. It wasn't fresh at all felt like it was in the fridge for a few week and most of all creamy udon was worst it taste like udon noodle mixed with whipped cream. The female staff who helped us order was kind tho. Last of all the we paid by bank transfer inclouding every vat, service charge but the dont issue red invoice.

Better than I expected to be honest, beef udon was a major stand out for me, we reallllly enjoyed it! Broth was in point! Sushi was solid. Overall good experience and would recommend, not strongly but still recommend overall!

The Sushi Restaurant offers what they promise. Great sushi. I went there as I was looking for some authentic sushi after I was disappointed at the Landmark 81. I was all alone as it was not the standard meal time. I ordered Salman Sashimi, avocado maki as well a set of spicy tuna and salmon rolls. And it was very tasty indeed. I can only suggest that you try out this spot in Little Japan of Saigon.

Great cozy place with a tokyo vibe. They have bar seating downstairs and a sakura like seating upstairs. Food is good and reasonable price. You can also come in just for drinks. Located in Japantown, they are open to 2AM everyday.

The vibe and service here are great, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They speak English, which is a bonus. But honestly, I thought the food was just okay. Since I don’t drink alcohol, the kebabs were a bit too salty for me. Urchin was pretty average. On the bright side, the fish and fried chicken were really good!👍🏻
