We randomly walked into this restaurant near our accommodation with zero Vietnamese language skills 😅 We were looking for local food — not fancy, but also not too “rough” — and this place looked clean, simple, and inviting. The food photos on the menu caught our attention, so we decided to give it a try. There’s no English menu, and it took us quite a while to translate everything. However, the staff were incredibly kind. Even though we couldn’t really communicate in English, they noticed we were foreigners and genuinely tried their best to help and guide us. That effort alone already made a great impression. When the food arrived, we realized this is actually an eel-specialty restaurant. It was our first time ever trying eel — and honestly, it wasn’t bad at all! The soup was especially delicious, rich, and comforting. If you’re staying nearby and want to try authentic local food, I’d definitely recommend this place. A nice little surprise for adventurous eaters 😊
