We had a beautiful lunch here. We can't fault anything the flavours were amazing. We had the Burrata salad, the seafood arancini were the best I have ever tasted, the pizza was amazing, the dough was so light and the Tiramisu was a big hit with my husband, we will definitely be back

Margherí, the secret pizza place in District 7 that everybody knows about Tucked away on a narrow street of Phu My Hung, District 7, lies a culinary gem that has been quietly capturing the hearts (and stomachs) of District 7's food lovers. Owned and operated since 2023 by the lovely couple Mai and Ciro, Margherí balances the cozy charm of a neighborhood secret with the growing reputation of serving some of the best Italian food in town. The Art of the Neapolitan Pizza True to his calling as a master chef, Ciro is fiercely passionate about his pursuit of the genuine Neapolitan style of pizza. He doesn't compromise on tradition or ingredients, and it shows in every single pie that leaves the oven. If you take a look at the attached file Pizza Napolitana.jpg, you can see exactly what makes Margherí’s pizzas so special. They are defined by an irregular, hand-stretched cornicione (crust)—a puffy, beautifully charred outer rim that boasts that perfect, smoky "leopard spotting." The center remains authentic: thin, delicate, and topped with a vibrant, glossy layer of premium San Marzano tomato sauce, melted Mozzarella di Bufala, and fresh black olives. While the classic Napoli is an absolute must-try, you really can’t go wrong with their other heavy hitters: Parma Ham: Perfectly salty, savory, and elegant. Meat Lovers: A robust, satisfying option for those craving something hearty. Beyond Pizza: Masterful Pastas While the pizza might get you through the door, the pasta will make you a regular. Margherí quietly serves up what is easily among the best pasta in HCM. The undisputed standout is the Ragú Napolitano. Slow-cooked for 15 hours, this deeply comforting dish is made directly from Ciro’s grandmother’s recipe—it tastes exactly like a Sunday afternoon in Naples. For those who prefer something rich yet subtle, the Truffle & Parmesan pasta delivers a luxurious whiff of earthy truffle flavor and the sharp, unmistakable, pungent aroma of Parmesan. The Verdict Margherí seamlessly blends warm, family-run hospitality with consistent culinary execution. Whether you have a craving for genuine Neapolitan cooking or you're just looking for an excellent Italian night out, drop by and discover this hidden gem in District 7.
My boyfriend's friends chose this place for a farewell dinner on our last night in Vietnam, and I'm glad they did. I booked our table through Facebook, and the whole process was quick and easy. When we arrived, we were a little confused because there wasn't a host, and a few staff walked past us before the owner came over to ask if we had a reservation. After confirming our booking, we weren't quite sure where to sit, so a little guidance at the entrance would make the arrival feel much smoother. That said, the owner is an expat, and the staff spoke excellent English, which made everything else effortless. The food was definitely the highlight. Even though I'm not usually a pizza person, the authentic Neapolitan pizzas were impressive with their light, chewy crust and quality ingredients. My favorite dish of the night was the Wagyu Ravioli. It was rich, tender, and easily the best thing I tried. The only downside was another guest smoking very close to our table, which made us leave earlier than planned. Overall, it's still a place I'd happily recommend, especially if you're looking for authentic Italian pizza in District 7.
One of the better pizzas I’ve had in District 7. The pizza crust was the highlight for me. It had a great texture and flavor, and honestly tasted quite different from the usual pizza places around town. We ordered the Carbonara pizza and loved it. The filling was rich, flavorful, and went really well with the crust. The truffle pasta was okay, but nothing special. It felt a bit dry and could have used more sauce. Overall, I’d come back for the pizza. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
One of the best Italian restaurants (located in the heart of D7, Phú Mỹ Hưng), and one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I have tried in Vietnam. Starting from the location, the place is very cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is quite diverse. There are not too many pizzas, but a few of them are very unique, including some more particular options like fried pizza. They also serve pasta and interesting appetizers, such as arancini, along with some special desserts. The dough was excellent, and the ingredients were very good quality. We were served by Jade, who was great and very helpful, by taking careful notes about how we wanted the dishes to come out, in what order, and paying attention to small details that really improved our dining experience. Overall, despite some negative reviews the restaurant has received, we did not have any problems at all. We had a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good Italian food in Ho Chi Minh City.
