Ambrosia Cafe Bistro - Event venue in Ho Chi Minh City

(◎-◎;) i have been here and i want to come back for the furniture mags I was here 2 years ago. Afternoon, the cafe was still, stirred by a small group of people, the only ones there. I got a matcha latte but it was too light and bitter for my taste. A wide gallery of abstract paintings, convoluted and pretty, hung around every walls. The star of the show was the Czech's Lasvit 2019 Home Decor magazine; whimsical, humorous, and full of life. Is it still there? How does one obtain it?

I visited Ambrosia Bistro with a tour group. It was my last night before leaving the group. The atmosphere and ambience was very relaxing. The food was great and the staff was wonderful. Appreciated the timing of the dishes being served. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great meal in a quaint place.

This is my go-to cafe for the best croissant standard in town (and Danish pastry too). Many unique drinks, but you definitely need to try the pink guava (trà ổi hồng), and lychee rose tea (trà vải hoa hồng). Perfect venue for work discussion or if you want to focus. Hidden in a broad alley where cars can make a U-turn (parking at the opposite side of the street). The French style villa is a plus, and they promote local artists by displaying beautiful artworks (which you can purchase, I asked for the price before!). I regularly host events so I use this place a lot for different types of set ups since they have 3 types of spaces for different guest groups. Sound system, LCD screen, mics and projectors are included in the venue package, which are so thoughtful! They are very flexible for tea break and business lunch packages too! I absolutely love their services and hospitality! Since this business was previously a Vietnamese modern fine dining restaurant called The Dining Room, they still have many past regular customers like me, who often book private dining or corporate events (and even catering, in my case) with their set tasting menu. Just check with the staff to request for this type of service, since you would need to rsvp in advance. Highly recommend their “stake in phở sauce”, “soft shell crabs in tamarind sauce and glass vermicelli”, “stuffed pumpkin flowers” and “grilled duck in ginger fish sauce”. They are now mainly operating as a bistro (Ambrosia brand) instead of a fine dining restaurant (The Dining Room brand), but I think it will be converted to the evening dining lounge soon. I saw the new evening set up when I last visited them a few weeks ago. So check it out, a true hidden gem stuck away in D1 Ho Chi Minh City next to the Zoo area.

Nice little cafe tucked away in the Homestead a Parkview a hotel. Coffee, juices, smoothies and some pastries on offer. Staff very polite and helpful. Plenty of comfortable indoor seating, and some outdoors . Coffee was very good (hot Latte) and the pineapple juice was freshly squeezed. Very pleasant and tasteful decor.

Bad service and bad food/drinks. The space is quite nice and bathroom is very clean and parking is easy. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk here is 65k and it is not good, and passion fruit tart was terrible. The female staff communicates very poorly. There is supposed to be a promotion for drinks, but they do not put the end date on the promo and they just told me it is already finished when I still see the promo on their FB page. Overall, the management is poor and they need to train themselves and their staffs better as well as serving better products.
