We order a Flatwhite and a Pandan Matcha. The coffee bean they used has very good taste. My pandan matcha I asked to add milk and coconut syrup, it gave a very special taste. We really love our drinks. They also sell different coffee bean roasted within 1 month. We used a coffee machine at home so we decided to buy one 1kg of Arabica for using at home. Love the drinks. Will be back.
Hidden gem in the back side of alley. Ordered a cup of flat white which was not on the menu though. Very good balanced Arabica blend was used to give the rich complex taste.
Sometimes I think about how fast the specialty coffee scene has exploded here. It’s amazing to see Vietnamese people finally taking ownership of what we grow and produce. But honestly? Sometimes these super 'professional' coffee spots can feel a bit overwhelming, almost like they’re putting on a performance. That’s why I find myself heading back to Lạc. It’s refreshingly down-to-earth and completely unpretentious. Yet still, You get high-quality coffee. And if you’re actually curious about what’s in your cup, the team is always ready for a real chat.
Despite the slight messy look of the interior, the coffee and pastry were neat. The way the barista doing things solo and dedicatedly explains the top-nocht quality and artistry of this place. 9.5/10
I really loved my experience in this cafe. The cafe is tucked away in a small little alley, which gives it a cozy, hidden gem feel and makes it a nice escape from the busy streets outside. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately want to stay for a while. They have a great variety of drinks, including cold brew, espresso, flavored coffee, matcha, non-coffee options, and even a few pastries. The vibe is very relaxed, with a warm and chill ambiance. The soft spot lighting and wooden interiors make the space feel extra welcoming and calm. They also play relaxing, chill music, and I was pleasantly surprised that most of the songs were in English, which added to the laid-back atmosphere. They also have the cutest Pomeranian dog who’s just as friendly as the staff. I ordered an iced coffee with condensed milk and fresh milk, and as someone with a sweet tooth, it was perfect. I also tried their tropical tea, which was refreshing and nicely balanced, perfect for the warm weather. I was pleasantly surprised that the oat milk substitute was free too, which was a thoughtful touch. One of the best things about this café is the value for money. The coffee was excellent, and the price was only around 50k VND. Great drinks, lovely space, and warm service make it a must-visit spot for coffee lovers in Ho Chi Minh City.
