Cỏ Café는 Mê Linh의 지상층 한 켠을 차지하고 있다. 제각각인 가구와 벽을 타오르는 식물들, 다양한 문화가 뒤섞인 절충적인 소품들이 어우러져 북부 고원 마을과 옛 사이공 사이 어딘가에 있는 듯한 분위기를 자아낸다. 좌석 대부분은 야외에 놓여 있고 — 작은 테이블, 작은 의자, 서로 가까이 붙어 앉는 구조 — 저녁이 되면 특유의 밀도가 생겨난다. 이곳을 일과의 일부로 삼은 단골들, 입소문을 듣고 찾아온 외국인 방문객들, 그리고 오랜 시간을 보낼 작정으로 자리를 잡은 일행들이 한데 모인다.

A peaceful hidden gem in Bình Thạnh! Cỏ Café is a charming old school spot on Mê Linh street. The vintage vibe, quiet garden setting and classic phin coffee make it the perfect escape from the city buzz. No frills, just great atmosphere and simple, quality drinks. Such a beautiful hidden gem only for the locals to know. Food was amazing and fresh, service was 5 Star and Atmosphere was relaxed and chilled.
[Update Jan 17, 2025] I returned here for the first time since a year ago. My opinion has changed since living in Vietnam for a year. This is an okay coffee shop. Mostly outdoor seating at small tables and with small chairs, everyone is packed together. This is still a popular place throughout the operating hours. Tried the bạc xỉu (white coffee) for 33K/$1.30. The price of the coffee is on the low-mid range. The size of the coffee is on the standard small range. *I did have to lower the stars I previously gave when I was a new expat in Vietnam and didn't know better. -- Popular place, especially late evenings. Nice place to relax and chat. The prices are comparable for the area, maybe a tad cheaper, but the coffee is on the smaller side. Have tried three yogurt drinks. To me, the coffee version didn't taste as good as the plain, but it probably tastes like it's supposed to; 30K ($1.25) ea. The blueberry is 40K ($1.65), tastes good.
